Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her biological Filipino parents. Her adoption took place at the age of three by her maternal grandmother living in slums. Her adoptive father is a white American with a military background, as is her adoptive mother, who is Filipino. She claims she, her adopted brother and their mother were subjected to abuse in their childhoods until they joined the military. To move to Texas at the age of thirteen, her family resided for some time in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. The physical assault subsided but she was still battling the psychological abuse her father suffered at home. When she turned 18, she joined an organization called the United States Navy. Poarch launched her TikTok page in April 2020. In less than 8 months, she had amassed more than 40 million users. She uploaded various videos but the most popular was a video for MillieB's cult hit track Soph Aspin Send. She lip-synced and jumped rhythmically to the music in a zoomed out video. The actress started her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts in the months following joining TikTok to take advantage of her rising fame. Poarch's fame peaked around December of 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two professionals Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves are interested in hiring her to write content for their respective brand names.
